Current Job Openings

Desert Rose Women’s Resource Center has an immediate opening for a Nurse. Training will be provided to a registered nurse willing to obtain sonographer certification.

Duties:

  • Reports to Medical Director
  • Provide ultrasounds according to medical standards of care
  • Provide patient pregnancy counseling, education, and referrals
  • Document clinical findings, observations, and medical care in patient record
  • Review any clinical findings indicating concern for the viability of the pregnancy or the
  • health of the mother with the Medical Director
  • Comply with state and professional licensing and continuing education requirements
  • Annual renewal of CPR certification
  • Annual review of center policies and procedures, infection control regulations, and safety
  • procedures

Essential Functions:

Position Summary
The Sonographer plays a vital role in supporting the mission of Desert Rose Women’s Resource Center by providing high-quality diagnostic and limited obstetric ultrasound imaging. This position combines clinical expertise with compassionate care, helping clients confirm pregnancy, assess gestational development, and receive accurate, timely information in a supportive environment.

The Sonographer works collaboratively with other staff members to ensure patients receive holistic care that prioritizes both medical accuracy and emotional support. The role requires adherence to professional medical standards, strict confidentiality, and sensitivity to the unique needs of women and families facing pregnancy decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be a committed Christian who demonstrates a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as
    Savior and Lord.

  • Exhibit strong commitment and dedication to the pro-life position and sexual purity.

  • Agree with and be willing to uphold the Statement of Faith, Statement of Principle, and Vision and Mission Statements.

  • Must possess a current sonography license within the state where the center is located and function in accordance with the state licensing board. 

  • Have one year of experience in a pregnancy center (optional).

  • Exhibit strong interpersonal and administration skills.

  • Have at least one year’s experience as a practicing nurse, ideally in a women’s
    health–related setting.
